from the remake of the korean oldies classic “Balloons” TVXQ for their last track of their 3rd album had made a new modern reboot of the song.

the song is about how once when we’re young its so easy to dream, and how we just grab onto a balloon and float away and just dream beautiful, sweet dreams while soaring through the sky.

a hopeful, cheerful song.

 this is album(3rd album) in general i think is the best they will ever be.
this album was just… flawless-

this song is good. the mv is good.
everything about this album and this era for them was good.

for me this is their golden era.
this is them at the top of their game. 

this song is the title song of their 3rd album O. jung. ban. hap.  
and this album is just kick ass. i promise.

 not. their. best. MV.(or maybe its just my incredible dislike for MV’s shot with fans in it…)

totally filled with sugar- prepare your insulin

but its totally cute and its one of my guilty pleasure songs.

i think is is a very very VERY good example of korean pop ballad, though this song has more of a early 1990’s kpop feel- it has alot of old school cadences and the whol crescendo tech. is very VERY old school 90’s pop- even the part where theres that dramatic pause and theres a voice over of someone saying, “girl, you know i love you” or something along those lines- 

very very 90’s pop.

and im a sucker for the 90’s~

 now this. this mother fucker of a song is what drew me to TVXQ. 

and i think this era was just the golden age for kpop. 

song came out in 2005 ( i was a soph. in highschool) and it just feed into all my angst at the time. the song is a prime example of epic kpop at the time. it had this whole grunge electro rock pop fusion kind of feel-

this song believe it or not was used in fast and furious- er… well one of the movies idk which… but yes

well… i’ve unfortunately drifted away from this group but i still acknowledge that they have set so may new records and levels to korean pop and that they have marked a big notch in the asian music world. 

HUG their debute  song- is just so fucking adorable. 
oddly enough this wasn’t the song that drew me to them, but its a great place to start.  

Maya- 못다핀 꽃 한송이 (translated to in an ugly setting, a flower blooms)

Maya. the fucking bad ass mother fucker of korean rock.

this song is about is about how you’re going crazy, its impossible nothing is happening your way and you’re concrete but out of no where like breathing that first gasp of air after choking a flower springs in between the cracks- i CANT be sure, but i believe that the lyrics are from a famous korean poem- but seriously this is amazing, okay?
